I am going to South Korea in January for a couple of weeks. Anybody have experience with the South Korean robot series? I've bought a couple of KO versions of Tobots and the like, but export costs for the real ones are terrible.

Hoping to be able to grab a bunch of things from thrift stores and flea markets while I'm there - any recommendations on what I should be keeping my eyes out for?

There's several places to try around Seoul. For one the Seoul subway station hub has a Lotte Mart with a Toys R Us floor, a good feel of a common retail layout and pricing.

The I-Park Mall nearby has E-Mart and some hobby and toy shops.

The Dongdaemun toy market is the motherload with several shops from current to older and even vintage toys.

아름다운 가게 "Beautiful Store" is Korea's thrift store chain.

Tobot and Hello Carbot are the two biggest brands, a good sampler is their Mini assortment.
