I mean it's a cool (motorized?) gimmick party trick. But IMO the trio should have gone all the way with autotransforming like V Storm Joe and Agent Titan Saver. Half-auto doesn't have that much of a useful function and pizzazz and half-manual is just basic legs.

I get what you're saying. By not committing to the gimmick completely we end up with something that's half-assed. The closest I could compare this to would be a Super Sentai mecha, but sentai knew how to design plastic bricks with style. This completely lacks that finesse.
Given it's price point I really can't see me going for this one now.
